The most convenient airport to travel to Salamanca is the Adolfo Suárez Madrid Barajas airport. From there, you can take a bus (Avanza) directly to the bus station of Salamanca (about 2:45h). Alternatively, you can take a fast train (around 1:40h) from the Chamartin station in Madrid. Yet another possibility is renting a car at the airport and drive to Salamanca, which takes around 2:10h.
